My name is Volodymyr Kobyletsky, or simply Volo. I'm 18 years old and live in Lviv, Ukraine. I'm currently working on my product management skills by launching projects, improving my English, and meeting cool people with whom I could create something cool.
Since childhood, I have been interested in entrepreneurship. At the age of 14, I made my first purchase at a wholesale market — foreign sweets (mostly Chinese at the time) for about $50. I created a store on Instagram, shot videos on TikTok, and sold these sweets in sets.
A year later, my sales had grown a little.
However, I still couldn't scale up sales and make serious money, so I closed this project in early 2024.
Then I spent about 1.5 years trying unsuccessfully to create my own startup. Everything moved in a closed cycle: I had an idea, started to implement it, encountered problems/doubts, abandoned the project, and moved on to the next one. This continued until the end of the summer of 2025.
Starting in August, the best events and decisions of recent years began to happen to me:
pitched my startup idea to investors (it was a training pitch, but it was still extremely scary in front of people of that level)
met my mentor, who taught me systematic planning and goal setting
got a job at JYSK (an interior design store) as a sales consultant
visited the capital of Ukraine (Kyiv, a metropolis of almost 3 million people) during a training course
started going to the gym regularly
In early January 2026, I quit my job and am now starting to work full-time on my projects.
